Root Ready Rise
The Root Ready Rise Collaboratory is a series that teaches you how to build differently. Everything is design. To build different, we must hone our sense of seeing how inequity is designed in our spaces. Then we can unbuild and rebuild.
Small Lots, Big Impact - Braiding Futures
Collective UNBound & Design Camp proposed a flexible small-lot housing model for LA & UCLA CityLAB’s Small Lots, Big Impact competition. Grounded in the site’s history, the design uses SB 1123 to create equitable homeownership opportunities for migrant and working-class communities through adaptable, multi-unit housing on subdivided lots.
Our diverse team unites around the principles of honoring cultural identities, repairing harm, and celebrating joy.
